Between Storms

We seem to be between storms at the moment. I like the contrast between the light and dark clouds against the bright blue sky.

Moody, Confused, Threatening, Aggressive, and Apologetic Skies

We didn’t know if it was going to rain.

It got dark. Clouds blew by.

The wind picked up. Sometimes it rained a little.

Other times it drifted past us.

The sky just couldn’t make up its mind.

It got mad.

But then felt a little bad about it.

Finally, it apologized for all that it put us through. It feels much better now.

Brightness and darkness

As the dark clouds flew away, the brightness of the setting sun illuminated the trees and building.
