This is an urchin I saw at the pet store last year. It’s in somber monochrome now, but in the link are some colorful photos of the many creatures I saw on my visit.
I submitted it to Leanne Cole’s Monochrome Madness a while back but never posted it on my own site. Here’s a link to the most recent MM, in case you’re curious.
Same with this photo below. It appeared in MM, but never here.
I like the A to Z Challenge because for some reason it helps me get caught up on posts that I’ve been wanting to do but never seem to get around to doing.
I’m participating in the A to Z Challenge for the month of April. The idea is to post every day, except Sundays, and end up with one post for each letter of the alphabet. It’s a good challenge to help me to blog every day.
At first it hid behind the rock, then slowly came forward. Some kind of white crawfish I guess?
I love the color on this one. There were several others in the tank and they all hid when I got close. Except for this brave (or vain) fish.
This urchin was so cool. Haven’t seen one before in a pet store.
This yellow and blue fish darted in and out of the rock. It took some time but I got a picture of it.
The seahorse seemed upset that the shrimp was crawling all over his plastic sea fan.
This was called a goby. Lots of different colors and an almost frog-like shape.
Oh, Hi there!
Starfish just showing off.
These little crabs were busy digging. It’s funny because at first I didn’t notice them and saw only rocks. Then saw the tiny legs moving.
In my recent quest to find some color, I visited the pet store and pretended I was snorkeling near some exotic reef.
