This huge sea creature fossil was hanging from the ceiling. It’s hard to show just how big it was.
This was in the mammal fossil section. Some kind of ancient elk relative.

This is a hadrosaur, or duck-billed dinosaur, fossil. (I learned that from watching Dinosaur Train with my kids, thanks PBS!)
Somehow, all I can think is “yum” when I look at this wall. OK maybe not the lower left or upper right corners.
Here is the museum’s 94-foot blue whale that hangs from the ceiling of the museum. I visited as a kid on a school trip and this whale is what I remember most. Twenty+ years later, it’s still as impressive.
In another part of the museum, there are lots of minerals and gems on display. So many beautiful and colorful things to enjoy, but this was the only good photo from that area. This is quartz.
I love this museum! OK, I love any museum, but this one is special.
