Mom, writer, cook, eater, media consumer, photographer
Update:
So after almost a year of starting this blog, I still don’t exactly have a focus. Lately, I have been getting more into photography, and just enjoyed completing the Photo 101 course. But I also like to post about baking, cooking, and I will have more to say about gardening once Winter finally decides to leave us alone. I’m still reading and writing occasionally, but haven’t been blogging much about it. I enjoy having this little space to be creative, and to keep track of recipes, thoughts, photos, or events until they fade away in my memory. Perhaps, as I thought almost a year ago, “shit that I’m interested in” just about sums that up.
Original:
I suppose at the moment my blog could be considered unfocused. I started out writing about The Dresden Files, then added some gardening posts, and some book spine poems. Who knows what else I’ll add. Maybe that’s why I don’t have a tagline yet. I could call it “shit that I’m interested in” but that sounds a bit crass. I’m new. I’ll just see where this goes…
Sure, it sounds like fun! Thanks for thinking of me 🙂
Hello, I have challenged you to the Black and White photo 5 day challenge, it’s just for fun so totally up to you if you accept, for more info follow this link https://chillybella.wordpress.com/2015/03/25/black-and-white-photo-5-day-challenge-day-three/
Thanks, it sounds like fun! I’ll give it a try 🙂
That’s fab, I’m sure you will 😊
Hi Cynthia: I nominated you for the Four Elements Photo Challenge. I hope you don’t mind. The Challenge: Post four photos that illustrate the elements Air, Fire, Water and Earth. The added poetry is not part of the challenge criteria. I added that feature on my own. This is supposed to be fun. Don’t worry if you are unable to participate or to nominate four other bloggers. Here is the link to my post for your reference. https://lightwalker1.wordpress.com/2015/04/08/four-elements-photo-challenge/ In love and light Cheryle
Thanks! Sounds like fun! I have a busy weekend ahead but look forward to it for next week.
I have just nominated you for a Real Nice Blog Award, and judging from the comment above as well as comments throughout your blog, I am certainly not the only reader who thoroughly enjoys your work.
This is the post in which I nominated you for this award:

Thank you for thinking of me! So it looks like, judging by your post, I should answer your questions, and then I should write some questions of my own to send to fellow bloggers that I nominate?
You have an interesting blog….Your photography has a simplistic yet very tasteful flair to it. Keep going down this journey and soon around the bend you might find what you are looking for.
Thank you for the compliment. I appreciate the encouragement! 🙂
Pleased to meet you. You are welcome to visit my blog when you have a moment or two. 🙂
Thanks! I like your poems.
Thank you for taking the time out Cynthia. I am glad that you like my poems too. 🙂
You’re welcome! It was nice to “meet” you 🙂

Hi, Heenie! Thank you for saying so 🙂 You made my morning! Good luck to you with your yummy recipes and learning about photography. Have fun!
I think it’s great to have a blog that covers a lot of different areas. I read quite a few like that, so you’re by no means alone. It’s good to be versatile and I’m sure you’ll have fun with it. 🙂
Thanks for your support, Millie! 🙂 So far it’s been fun, yes. Thanks for stopping by.
Hi Cynthia, just thought I would stop by and say hi and thank you for the ‘like’ on my ‘Mom’s Cornish Pasties’. I look forward in reading your interesting site 🙂 . From what I see, it is great and you are so creative. I am going to love it. Have a good weekend.
Thank you, Lynne! I hope you enjoyed my blog. I don’t really have a focus and tend to post a lot of different stuff. I came across your blog when Lynn highlighted it on Lynz Real Cooking. She always has interesting stories and recipes on her blog!
I think the fact that you do post different stuff, makes your blog so special. I am thoroughly enjoying it. Hope we can chat soon.
Well, thanks for that compliment! I’m happy that you are enjoying it, and I’d love to chat. Thanks!
I just discovered your blog, and I identify with what you wrote in your “about”. I know I will enjoy reading more of your past entries.
Thank you, Carol! I’m glad I’m not the only one whose blog is kind of all over the place. I hope you enjoy my posts, and let me know if you want to chat about something or have a question!

Unfocused is one translation. Unencumbered and Unlimited are the translations at the opposite end of the spectrum. And I prefer the later two. It makes it much easier to go where ever the day takes you. And different days should take us all in different directions.
Thank you for that interpretation, John. I like your way of thinking.
