Roses in Sunshine 4

Roses in sunshine with drama filter

This is the fourth and final edit of the roses. I didn’t notice what was happening with the sky until I was playing with some of the darker filters. I think it brings out some interesting features in the sky as well as the petals.

I joined the One Four Challenge, in which participants show four different edits of the same photo over four weeks. Alternatively, you can decide to take four versions of the image at the time of shooting.

Here is the third edit of my photo of the roses.

  1. Because I love the unedited photos I will say I like the last. But I also like the first.
It’s about me when I said unedited photos, not you. 🙂

    1. Thanks for your comment! I usually like minimal editing as well, especially with nature shots. This challenge was fun because it got me to edit one photo several different ways, which is something I don’t normally do.

  2. Cynthia – just going back through the One Four posts and realised I had missed this one.. apologies!
I have enjoyed all of your edits and think the rose looks beautiful in each one.. and quite different. Nicely done and glad you could join us 🙂

I'd love to hear your thoughts
